Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
Jamison Tech, LLC is committed to making jamisontech.com usable by as many people as possible, including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, use magnification, or need reduced motion. We treat accessibility as part of building the site properly rather than as a feature added afterward.
Measures we have taken
- Every page is built as semantic HTML with a single top-level heading, landmark
regions (
header, nav, main, footer), and a heading order that does not skip levels. - A “skip to content” link is the first thing a keyboard user reaches on every page.
- Every form control has a visible, programmatically associated label.
- Color contrast is measured rather than assumed. Twenty text and interface color pairings — every combination we could enumerate, in both the light and dark themes — were calculated against WCAG 2.1, and all meet Level AA. The lowest measured text ratio is 4.99:1 against a 4.5:1 requirement.
- The keyboard focus indicator is always visible and is never removed. It measures 14.6:1 in the light theme and 14.9:1 in the dark theme, well above the 3:1 minimum.
- The site respects
prefers-reduced-motionand suppresses animation for visitors who have asked their system for less of it. - The site works without JavaScript. All content is static HTML; no page requires a script to be readable or navigable.
- The site follows your system’s light or dark preference automatically.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for making web content more accessible. This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that most of the content meets the standard, but we have not completed the full range of testing that a claim of full conformance would require — see Assessment approach and Known limitations below.
Feedback — and what we will do about it

Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology
The site is built to standard HTML and CSS and is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile, including with the screen readers and magnification tools built into those platforms. It is not designed against any one assistive technology, and it does not require a specific browser.
Technical specifications
Accessibility of this site relies on HTML, CSS, and WAI-ARIA where a native element is not sufficient. The site ships no third-party scripts, sets no cookies, and uses no analytics that track individuals. These technologies are relied upon for conformance.
Assessment approach
Jamison Tech assessed this site by self-evaluation, carried out during the site’s rebuild in September 2026. The assessment included:
- An automated structural check of every published page, covering heading order and duplication, language attributes, landmark regions, image alternative text, and the presence of an associated label for every form control.
- A calculated contrast audit of every color pairing the site renders, in both themes, against the WCAG 2.1 thresholds for text and for non-text interface elements.
⚠️ We want to be clear about what this assessment did not include. It was not a formal third-party audit, and it did not include testing with assistive technology by people who depend on it. Those are the two things most likely to surface problems automated checks cannot see, and neither has been done.
Known limitations
We would rather name these than let you discover them:
- The site has not been tested with a screen reader by a person who uses one daily. Automated checks confirm the structure is sound; they cannot confirm the experience is good.
- No formal third-party accessibility audit has been carried out.
- Wide tables on the legal pages scroll horizontally on narrow screens. The content is reachable, but the interaction is awkward on a small phone.
- Photography is present and every image carries alternative text, but that text has not been reviewed by anyone who relies on it. Alt text can be technically present and still describe the wrong thing.
Assessment and review
This statement reflects the site as rebuilt on 1 September 2026. We will reassess when the site changes materially, and we will update this page when we do.
